After a rigorous evaluation process, we proudly unveiled the 30 finalists of the WIPO Global Awards 2025, selected from 780 completed applications representing 95 countries.
从可持续镍提取和清洁炉灶，到手语转语音手套、前沿网络安全技术、在线3D创作平台，以及促进合法音乐版权交易的工具——这些入围者证明，知识产权不仅推动创新，更驱动现实世界进步。
From sustainable nickel extraction and clean cookstoves to sign-to-speech gloves, cutting-edge cybersecurity, online 3D creation platforms, and tools enabling legal music rights exchange – these finalists prove that Intellectual Property (IP) drives not just innovation, but real-world progress.

The competition saw a significant increase in participation, reflecting growing global recognition of the WIPO Global Awards.

The infographic shows that WIPO received over 780 completed applications from 95 countries – a 20% increase compared to 2024. Nearly 2,300 companies started an application, demonstrating the commitment of innovators to showcase their impact through IP.

中国、印度、尼日利亚、韩国和美国在参选申请数量方面位居前列。今年，进入前10位的有两个新晋国家：伊朗伊斯兰共和国和加拿大。
China, India, Nigeria, the Republic of Korea, and the United States lead the rankings of countries with most applicants. This year saw the emergence of two newcomers in the Top 10: the Islamic Republic of Iran and Canada.

申请在健康、环境、信通技术、农业食品和创意产业等部门的分布显示了该奖项在各行业中的吸引力。
The distribution of applications across sectors such as Health, Environment, ICT, Agrifood, and Creative Industries shows the Awards’ appeal across industries.

Environment leads with 28.6% of applicants, followed closely by Health at 26.4% and ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) at 25.6%. The Creativity sector also shows strong representation, accounting for 19.4% of applicants.

This year’s competition reflects a high level of diversity among applicants.
